Good day, I am really sadden at the service of which they rendered, I have no knowledge of how things are done at Home Affairs today at Boksburg, I had with me a slip that simply states that I have requested the amendment of my surname. The guy takes my paper and checks me in the system and tells me the surname has changed . Takes the document rips it apart, tells me I should do another ID. I am standing there with no valid answer why he takes the paper and tears it up, I paid for that slip last year R330 I think, I never got a message that it was fixed I had to come and check for myself. I currently have no receipt that I paid for surname change.
I am devasted please help.
