To whom it may concern

I have a major Safety complaint about DHA office Thabazimbi, district office Waterberg and head office of DHA.

My son's passport was dispatched to branch in Thabazimbi on the 18th of March. After multiple enquiries from my side they eventually found out 2 weeks ago that the skynet courier was highjacked on the 20th of March. Up to today none of the 24 passports that was highjacked has been marked as stolen. This is completely unacceptable. How many people have been using those stolen passports and been smuggled illegally in and out of the country?

I get no feeback from head office after calling every day. I get sent from one person to the next with no answers and now head office says the branch and district manager have to give answers. They do not respond to my requests.

We are flying out to Australia end of next week and I need my son's passport as soon as possible. I have tried to escalate the matter to no avail.

Is there anyone that can help me to escalate this issue? I will even go and get the reprint in pretoria at printing works. Ministerial intervention is my last option.

Please can someone help me with this urgent matter and to hold the incompetant parties accountable for lack of safety issues to RSA citizens.
