I am raising this concern of Teleperformance SA based in Cape Town and Woodstock boulevard ,due to covid regulations.
The concern I have is that we are continuously hiring new people however the seating does not accommodate the new staff member on the operational floor. It is currently full , the air cons is warm no air they hardly want to send people home.
It is a UK based campaign when we ask what will happen as it might be level 5 lock down they just say we will have to work and follow protocols. Mean while they also say that utilites cannot work from home in SA but in Uk for the same business or campaigns they are working from home. Which left us feeling that now our lives does not matter.
The cleaners does not come sanitize your desk like they should the next morning i will have to sit at a dirty desk or clean it ourselves. There has been many confirmed cases and they still refuse to send us home or to follow the protocol of sanitizing the whole building for 24-48 hours. Today there has been a confirmed case but no one is sent home or the place is not sanitized.
