my name is Gugu Xulu. I am a second year student of Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Microbiology at University of Zululand. I have been attempting to register for my second year but I am unable to go through with the application, this is because I am owing R26 944 school fees and the university will not allow me to register considering my debt. I live with my grandmother who is a pensioner hence is unable to pay these fees. As a student, I am unemployed and cannot afford so much money. I am not covered by NSFAS, hence I am unable to pay my school fees I do not have a bursary as well. At this point I am stuck between a rock and a hard place. I am a determined student and I am very keen about the future. The last thing I would want to happen is to not get admission just because I am underprivileged and cannot afford school fees. If you may please help me with this so I am proceed with my second year.
My former classmates have already received modules for this year semester 1. I am stuck at home, unable to register because of this debt. If you may please pardon me for I will not be able to pay this money. I wish to register so I may continue with my studies and be successful in the near future
