Dear Leon, I understand that you are busy trying to fix what has been ruined by many years of neglect and complacency. I have had a green ID book since i turned 18 and have been a citizen of SA since i was 6 years old, now 51 years old. I have been trying to apply online for a ID card for over 2 years now and when i enter my information, i get the following message. "This facility is currently only available for South African citizens born in South Africa". I pay my taxes and have been a firm supporter of all the modern ideas coming out of your department. Do you know when the online facility will be available for all, or is this only going to be for SA citizens born in SA?
