Good day sir
Trust you are well. My apologies I don't even know if this message will reach you but I am left with not much option. Since last year May I have been fighting an uphill battle to get my child a space in school for grade 1. I have run and called one department to after another, I went to the department of education regional, district offices. I have called national offices, presidential complaint hotline without any success.
I'm a hard working tax payer and I want to pay school fees yet the school keep telling me they are full and won't accommodate us. Currently 72 grade 1 learners in Kathu are not attending school since the beginning of this year and sitting at home waiting for the department of education to finally deliver the mobile classrooms as promised. The first semester is almost over yet the kids are still sitting at home. Our countries constitution states every child has the right to education yet currently 72 children are having their rights infringed yet no one seems to care enough to do their jobs. I hope this message reaches you and you will be able to intervention as I know you have a fiery passion for education. Thank you
