I have been trying to apply for grants as I'm unemployed to start rabbit farming in my village of Skoongezicht near Mahikeng. The problem is that grants have not been open since last year and no one knows when that will happen since no word came from the office of the minister.
I'm asking if there's any other way that i can be assisted since getting a loan proved to be more difficult because of financial background.
Please help as i intend to train and employ members of my community .
I'm a member of the Rabbit Association of South Africa which has a guaranteed market, provide training and mentoring for new farmers. I also have a business plan and did research in this kind of farming.
