I, Thokozani want to express my feelings about what the two legit companies put me through in these hard times of financial difficulties under Covid 19 circumstances. I was conned money when everyone needed money the most to survive the Covid 19 pandemic. As of right now I am saddened because whenever I watch football, I relive what trusting Kaizer Chiefs did to me, which creates a bad image about the beautiful game of football.
Kaizer Chiefs’ core values and guiding principles are honesty, integrity, hard work, respect for others, truthfulness, trustworthiness, loyalty, responsibility for personal actions, generosity and kindness. Because of Kaizer Chiefs core values and guiding principles I then believed every word they stated in their website https://www.kaizerchiefs.com/oinvest-4/, and I got to know about OInvest owned and operated by Basfour 3773 (Pty) Ltd from Kaizer Chiefs’ website.
Kaizer Chiefs has been active, reaching out to its community and also abroad by making a difference in their lives. When you come across the information inside Kaizer Chiefs’ website page that says the financial service provider company is proud to be the official partner of the club in forex trading, it makes you know that the beautiful Kaizer Chiefs has partnered with Financial Service Provider Company to play a part in the communities again.
Knowing how Kaizer Chiefs has partnered with its main sponsor, Vodacom over the years to play a part in the community, you just believe that every partnership that involves Kaizer Chiefs is for a good purpose - it is not deliberately designed to damage and cause financial losses to innocent vulnerable people to people instead for them to benefit.
I read all the information published in https://www.kaizerchiefs.com/oinvest-4/ and I found no reason not to believe and trust all what was in Kaizer Chiefs website including this information “Oinvest is proud to be the official forex trading partner of Kaizer Chiefs” and emphasis was also given on that “For more information visit – www.oinvest.co.za”, and in www.oinvest.co.za everything revolved around Kaizer Chiefs presentation as Oinvest official forex trading partner. Kaizer Chiefs is a massive brand in Africa. Advertising with the Kaizer Chiefs brand and its ideas by Oinvest helped to create emotional ties which brought trust and loyalty to me.
All started from https://www.kaizerchiefs.com/ to https://www.kaizerchiefs.com/oinvest-4/ and directed straight to fraudulent dealings in https://www.oinvest.co.za, and lastly to fraudulent settlement agreement document which I was pressurised to sign and send back to them immediately.
For more information as directed by Kaizer Chiefs’ website, I then visited www.oinvest.co.za and everything corresponded with what was published in Kaizer Chiefs’ website. Judging Kaizer Chiefs by the good things they have done in the recent past, reaching out to communities by making a difference in their lives, I then decided to register with the hope that I was getting myself into a legit business with Kaizer Chiefs involved with its core values and guiding principles which are honesty, integrity, hard work, respect for others, truthfulness, trustworthiness, loyalty, responsibility for personal actions, generosity and kindness. Unfortunately unforeseen danger was looming large for me as I got scammed money from Road Accident Fund.
After registering I was then contacted by Oinvest. Their campaign over the phone was mostly based on their partnership with Kaizer Chiefs, of which I think was a strategy to win my trust because Kaizer Chiefs is a well-known football club with largest supporter base in southern Africa as well, and so I joined Oinvest with the belief of working with a trustworthy company which was in partnership with the legit football club. That OInvest status of working hand in hand with Kaizer Chiefs had legitimacy in it and I trusted it, only to get scammed in the end.
The Kaizer Chiefs brand helped to reduce my perceived risk of joining them. Forex trading is a risk, but the biggest risk was to trust that Kaizer Chiefs with its core values and principles and partnering with Oinvest in forex trading would have no fraudulent dealings.
They then made one of their own to be my senior account manager to unduly pressurise me to put money in trading account for them to trade for me with no risk of losing money. They assured me that they make sure that their clients gain more out of their money, instead of letting it sit in regular bank accounts with the lowest possible interest rate. They also said they would give me bonuses if I deposited certain different amounts of money, but of which turned out to be a false promise as I only got scammed in the end.
Initially, potential fraudulent dealings were invisible, because of the good history the legitimate Kaizer Chiefs has, like changing lives of South African communities with its core values and guiding principles. Kaizer Chiefs involvement in forex partnership with Oinvest blinded me from foreseeing the fraud which inevitable happened.
After contacting Kaizer Chiefs about the issue of fraud I had with them and Oinvest, I would regularly visit Kaizer Chiefs’ website wanting to find out if Oinvest was still listed amongst partners and sponsors of Kaizer Chiefs, because judging by the issue of me getting conned, I suspected they would erase every proof linking them to their partnership in Forex trading. On the 4th of February 2021 I contacted Kaizer Chiefs through a phone call, about the dissatisfaction I had with Kaizer Chiefs and Oinvest’s partnership in Forex trading. On the 7th of February 2021 I visited Kaizer Chiefs’ website again and Oinvest was still present on the list of Kaizer Chiefs’ partners and sponsors.
On the 12th of February 2021 I received a letter from the legal counsel of Kaizer Chiefs Mr John van den Aardweg, disputing that Oinvest are partners with Kaizer Chiefs in Forex trading. On the 26th of February 2021 I visited Kaizer Chiefs’ website once more and to my shock, Oinvest was not longer listed as a partner or sponsor of Kaizer Chiefs and I wondered if their deal they signed had expired or what. What’s intriguing was the removal of Oinvest right after I complained to Kaizer Chiefs about their partnership in forex trading, where I got conned my money. I would not be surprised if more remaining evidence is erased as Oinvest has been removed from Kaizer Chiefs’ website.
According to Mr van den Aardweg Kaizer Chiefs Legal Counsel, Kaizer Chiefs have never officially partnered with Oinvest in forex trading, if rightfully so that means Kaizer Chiefs assisted Oinvest with fraud and deception in their website, fraud and deception that led me to Oinvest fraudulent dealings because I know Kaizer Chiefs as a club with honesty, integrity, respect for others, truthfulness, trustworthiness, loyalty, responsibility for personal actions, generosity and kindness to trust the partnership they are involved in. And I believe that fraud in Kaizer Chiefs website, if so was deliberately designed for financial gain for both Kaizer Chiefs and Oinvest.
Advertising builds consumer trust in the company and ensures more people are reached. If Oinvest was not the official forex trading partner of Kaizer Chiefs why was it published in Kaizer Chiefs’ website that “OINVEST IS PROUD TO BE THE OFFICIAL FOREX TRADING PARTENER OF KAIZER CHIEFS”, what was the motive behind that because Oinvest used that to their advantage as their campaign revolved around that to win my trust to be scammed in the end.
Is it legal for football clubs to have inaccurate information in their websites, deliberately designed to damage and cause financial losses to innocent and vulnerable people? In a football club website, to be publicised inaccurate information that corresponds with the information that is in the scammer website is fraud in the highest level.
I know it is in FIFA’s advantage to have football clubs expanding with success about their football business, but I doubt FIFA promotes fraud by football clubs by using their football fame and statuses in the process.
The club licensing system has the objective of promoting transparency in the finances of clubs; this is the objective in accordance with the decision taken by the FIFA Congress. I doubt if FIFA allows football clubs to receive unlawful money from sponsors or partnership. Kaizer Chiefs with its core values and guiding principles which are honesty, integrity, hard work, respect for others, truthfulness, trustworthiness, loyalty, responsibility for personal actions, generosity and kindness I doubt if it can receive money conned from people by a shady sponsor and remain proud of being sponsored if all its core values and principles are put into practice.
Kaizer Chiefs believe that I need their assistance in the recovery of any monies from Oinvest, no I am not, and I am only talking facts. I am not going to hide anyone who manipulated me to fraudulent dealings. If it was not for the information I got from Kaizer Chiefs’ website about Oinvset I would not have known about Oinvest, the way I got to know about them from Kaizer Chiefs website.
I can only expect help from Kaizer Chiefs if they live up to their core values and guiding principle and don’t promote crime, nor benefit from any fraud by their partners or sponsors.
Kaizer Chiefs and Oinvest are legit companies but their dealings in forex trading were fraudulent, but when it comes to Kaizer Chiefs, police officers turned a blind eye and deaf ear on how Kaizer Chiefs got me in fraudulent dealings, they make a good case not to involve Kaizer Chiefs in their investigation even though Kaizer Chiefs did confirm that they know Oinvest, as their "sponsor".
I would appreciate it if law enforcement would look into this case and take essential sanctions against Kaizer Chiefs and Basfour 3773 trading as Oinvest to bring justice.
