I am emailing everyone on this list that I can find in hope that someone at the department of Home Affairs will answer and take note.

Your website is absolutely terrible! It has been since we were told to use the online booking system. Myself and friends and family and neighbours and random strangers fight every single day to firstly get the website to actually load, then secondly when it does you login and click next then the website gives an error of "service not available", then you try again and the website does not load.

Then you try to login again and the thing says please wait for 20 minutes+ and then times out!!!

Months ago we tried and it gave the same issues, we have tried different web browsers, different computers, different phones and tablets and it all says the same thing. Now surely someone can actually pay attention to this and deliver an efficient working website. It really is not that hard if I can open up a retail website in the matter of minutes - and that is someone with no IT experience.

Some of us are trying to get new passports, some want smart ID cards I mean we have to fight for service and its ridiculous. nobody has time to wait and wait and wait in queues for hours on end. Kids cannot stay out of school to stand at home affairs for ID's and passports because nobody could be bothered to offer a website that actually works.

You want us to use the booking system online but then give us a working system. Surely you as the government have a competent IT department of some sort to actually offer us a working website at the very least in 2022!
Home Affairs, EASY, EFFICIENT - there is nothing easy or efficient about the website.

nobody responds, nobody answers calls when you call to find out how to get this website going

Now please home affairs department - get the website working or fire your IT department and get competent qualified website developers!!!!!!!!]
