Dear Chairperson

In 2017 your committee on Arts and Culture visisted Mpumalanga to do an oversight work on the work of National Department of Arts and Culture in the province. Libraries, museums, heritage sites and archives were visited. The visit brought hope to us in the archives sector because we thought that follow-up questions will be made after realising that little work is done at the archives as opposed to its mandate as stated in the constitution, National Archives and Records Service act and Mpumalanga Archives act. I therefore request as a citizen to be given feedback on steps taken after the visit, I also want to know if the visit served its purpose.
