I have referred the above mentioned matter to your Office and the response I got was that Chief of Staff would respond to me but I never got one. At Fort Beaufort All land east of the Kat River was to be part of Ciskei only the town and the township were spared from that. Some farms like Mountaintop, KwaNotanka, Witney and others east of Katriver were bought by the apartheid Government and given to Ciskei. These were rented to Black farmers. However after we were merged to form bigger municipality against our will with Alice, Alice comrades were in all powerful positions and the farms that used to be under Ciskei were sold to White farmers by Alice Comrades. They regarded anything that used to belong to Ciskei as their own property since we were under RSA and they were under Cisker. Even the Police Station at Fort Beaufort village was put under Alice Police Station. People under the Fort Beaufort village which was under Ciskei are still going to Alice for court appearance.
For Whites to have more land after the land appropriation or to keep the same size as they had before they had to buy more land and for criminal Blacks it is another corrupt way of making money and enrich themselves unduly they have to sell farms they think people know nothing about.
