I urgently request your intervention in a matter that has remained unresolved since 2021, despite repeated attempts to obtain clarity and closure.

The Department of Home Affairs has been investigating a case of false birth registrations involving my late mother since 2021.

According to departmental records, two individuals have been registered as her children — a claim that is entirely false and unsupported by any familial or legal relationship. The said individuals have acknowledged that they are not the children of my late mother, neither are they related to her in any capacity but refuse to confirm this to officials of the DHA. They are both essentially perpetuating a hoax. This unresolved investigation is now obstructing the finalisation of her estate. The nominated executor (cited herein) is unable to proceed with being appointed and winding up her affairs due to the uncertainty and administrative paralysis caused by this matter.

I respectfully request that your office intervene in this matter so that the finalisation of this investigation may be prioritised. My siblings, relatives and I have co-operated with each one of the Departments requests and I thus see no reason for the continued delay of this matter. I am available to furnish any further documentation required to assist in resolving this issue.
