Some months ago there was a report that you were looking into the feasibility of ethanol from sugar cane as a fuel additive. What progress has there been?

It would put small scale farmers back into work, open closed sugar mills, reduce foreign exchange and even perhaps a drop in the price of petrol.

Please stay with this initiative.

And keep the public informed of progress. We are hopeful that you are not just another MP, full of good intentions but lacking the wherewithal to make things happen.
