I stay out of town and buy electricity direct from eskom. Before using any power i now pay R32.56 {service & admin} and R37.67 {network capacity} -(R70.23) fixed cost PER DAY. Equates to R2.93 per hour.
This week Mon-Fri = 120 hrs of which 53.5 load shedding...

Is not time to push for Daily discounts? This week alone thus R2.93 x 53.5 = R156.75

For a month it will be well over R600 at (so called) phase 6.

As you know this is due to drastically Increase during winter.

Ps. I only have 25kw 3-phase connection. The larger the kw, the higher the fixed costs. Thinking of farmers here...
