Good day Minister. The towns of Paul Roux and Rosendal in the Dihlabeng LM within the Thabo Mofutsanyana District Municipality are going through extreme difficulty over the past couple of years in relation to continueous power cuts. The greatest challange residents in the area experience outside of a lack of electricity is the lack of communication to the community by Eskom and the Dihlabeng LM. We desperately need your intervention on the matter. We need Escom to communicate directly with the effected residents through the local councillors, during power cuts and we need a team of experts to visit the towns of Rosendal and Paul Roux to make an assesment of the challanges of the Electricity infrastructure and a plan to be put into place for the fixing of all the faults on the electricity infrastructure.
I have informed Dr Roy Jankielsohn, Leader of the DA in the Free State that I will be escalating the matter to your office for assistance. I have struggled tremandously to get into contact with your office.
