I am getting a farm in King Williams town, close to 43 hectares of land. I am leasing the farm with the intention to buy. My primary meaning is to farm crops like maize, vegetables and other consumable food products. Part of it will be farming live stock, pigs, chicken, goats, sheep and cattle.
My enquiry Sir is to find out how small scale farmers are assisted by government in terms of grants to be able to get the necessary equipment and related items? Is there a door opened for such assistance that I can knock on?
