As a social entrepreneur from the Northern Cape, your vision has deeply inspired my commitment to empowering rural communities through enterprise and job creation.

Your message that “political freedom without economic emancipation is incomplete” resonates powerfully with my work. Thirty years after our political liberation, the call for economic freedom remains urgent. Your leadership has given voice and direction to a generation determined to see land returned to the people, local industries revitalised, and black South Africans owning productive farms and businesses.

This vision aligns closely with the Rural Business Incubator initiative in the Northern Cape, where we support SMMEs with training, mentorship, and access to resources. By strengthening small enterprises in agriculture, manufacturing, and retail, we aim to create sustainable employment opportunities, particularly for youth and women in rural areas. Your emphasis on land reform and state-led economic empowerment provides a framework through which such incubators can thrive and contribute meaningfully to local development.
