Dear Minister Eldorado Park Steering Committee (EPASCO) sets the record straight and refuted low turnout claims.
The school's project meeting was postponed due to the low attendance on August 17, at Don Mateman Civic Centre.
The Eldorado Park Steering Committee (EPASCO) dismissed claims of low turnout that led to the postponement of a public meeting at Don Mateman Civic Centre, EXT 5, Eldorado Park, on August 17.
The public meeting, comprising the councillors, EPASCO and School Governing Body (SGB) from various schools, was meant to explain the schools’ rebuilding projects in Wards 17 and 18.
It was postponed to August 21, according to Ward 18 Cllr Juwairlya Kaldine because there was no consensus due to low public turnout.
EPASCO is of the view that community is once excluded from the schools projects as SMME's and local communities voices are not heard and that 30% due to SMMEs and community are not taken into confidence
Yours EPASCO
