Could I please get an update on the current status of the above project as it has been halted by Prasa in Aug 2018 at huge costs to the tax payer. Prasa already lost various arbitration cases against the contractor Bombardier due to project management failures. Surely the tax payer need to know how many more millions will be lost should Bombardier be replaced with another rail contractor as project progress (design & construction ) about 50 percent complete. How long must KZN commuters still wait for a safe railway system in our region which was promised to be completed by mid 2017 despite the millions of money already wasted on another uncompleted project by a SOE?
