Our beloved National Rugby hero’s – the Springboks have brought significant unity to our country over the past 30 years, yet access to Springbok Rugby TV programmes are exclusively the domain of DSTV at a premium cost of R 760 being the difference between Premium (the Springbok Channel) and Family package (entry level package). In addition, DSTV charges exorbitant prices for their packages. The premium package which has exclusivity for Springbok games cost R 1099 per month. This is not affordable by the majority of our citizens.

As an advocate for sharing our Springboks journey and successes with all our citizens, it surely is time to break the monopoly of DSTV in all respects to give our citizens their CHOICE other than Multichoice!
