I hope you do not mind me writing to you.

Having observed this over many years I believe that the Drivers License regime needs an update.

We have tens of thousands of people that will obtain a code 10 drivers license and will never ever drive a truck.

It is believed even by driving schools that it is much easier in obtaining a code 10 Drivers License and you do not do parrallel parking, ally docking, etc.

We have so many accidents in this country and I just wonder if this has no bearing in people not being fully trained in driving Motor Vehicles.

I would suggest that going forward everyone obtains a Code 8 license including truck drivers who would then move up to obtaining Code 10 and Code 11.
