Subject: Default judgements at RAF
Dear Robert Alfred Lees
Moshabane has sent you the following message via People's Assembly (https://u2593534.ct.sendgrid.net/ls/click?upn=MONpeGXgClPosasROx0aJBJX15S-2Bmx9cs7RyOKRaib-2FlXRciq0r4ycerxdxOtudJZlSG_OD4b6c8qx2Y-2B0spS0Wrcbth8U8RPWw7uNBUHXADHTmdEUqrX7r2-2FBRUY0T7keYEmT39qmnXAePRf154nWAuqQsGxRWa6uTRClZw-2BRrJtNJobaUghfNPCw3rQZoSfSUD5j4AKRJ0WmNf8Fy45DwLNa2Qx9TVmH4IBeHINdRZj8gnMRPIrGveP9yhGATRHkxcqBgbAZ9F37yqHQjjtEZuDAA-2BvSGsy9A1S-2FO4vEAx6qyf0cig6sNMwzWmeWiAGcMG2
Good evening.
I am a practicing attorney in Limpopo Division. The Civil trial
roll is only on Mondays with 80% of RAF matters. I tell you almost
80% of RAF matters are not being defended with the result that
default judgments are obtained every Monday. I do not have the
exact statistics but i tell you that this is happening every
Monday.
What is worse is that after judgments have been obtained RAF is
not going to pay and a writ of execution will be issued resulting
in unnecessary costs &
"duplicate" payments the SIU was referring to and applications for
rescission of judgments which are not based on law but frivolous
and vexatious.
Something must be really done!
