It is with deep regret that I need to bring to your attention the letter I wrote to Hon MP Essack. His remarks are unbearable and damaging to my reputation and as a member of your Portfolio Committee, I would like you to assist in fact finding first before the members made such accustions.

Dear Honourable MP.
RE: DA hails SIU raid on Gupta linked suspect Alexander Bay Diamonds Company
I am referring to your article published yesterday with the above title written by Mr. Siyabonga Sithole from IOL.
In the article, you say among other things that "former CEO Lemogang Pitsoe must account on the role he played in awarding this contract and the circumstances that led to Alexkor becoming a cesspool of corruption under his watch".
I take great umbrage at your unfounded, gratuitous and defamatory remarks about me. Not only was I ever involved in the awarding of the contracts to which you refer, I was not in the employ of Alexkor during that period to which you refer. The stated period of 2014 – 2016, I was employed at a Ferrochrome Company in North West, owned by a German and a Japanese companies not in the PUBLIC sector as you are suggesting.
I have consulted my lawyers and accordingly been instructed to ask you to withdraw the statements about me as they are simply not true and are designed only to embarrass and drag me into matters that have nothing to do with my good self. I am expecting an apology from your Honourable MP within 24 hours of receiving this letter.
