Official complain

I hope my mail find you well under these conditions of covid pandemic: I would like to bring under your attention what I call undermining of government effort to fight Covid-19 pandemic spread.

Last week Sunday I was burrying my aunt offwhich she died of Covid-19.The funeral parlour that was handling all the proceeding fail us including our government effort to fight the spread of this pandemic. Before the day of funeral I done them to inform then when they bring the body they must make sure they have spur PPE as if I knew was going happe.

Early hours of Sunday the 03/01/2021,the body of my aunt arrive with only two officials,bare in mind the maximum of coffin barriers is six official.When I ask them why they are only two member their answer was that the parlour always two official. I ask them if they aware my aunt died of covid the answer was yes.I ask them where is the spur off PPE they told their employer didn't give them knowing thay two officials can't carry the coffin,we were force to assist with barehands. That clear show that this funeral parlour doesn't care about people life they only care about money that they benefit out of dead people.

What upsetting me the most is that govern is doing all they can to eliminate the spread of this pandemic but the are parlour out who subbotage state effort.Who know that we are affected because of their carelessness. According to Covid-19 regulations Covid-19 case must burryied by undertakers only but in my aunt case we were force to be hands on with NO PPE as required.

I would the association to revisit the fittnes of this parlour to handle Covid-19 cases and we also worried of our health as we were put at risk by this parlour.

The name of the parlour is Tata kaNoyhoyho funeral parlour is base in Lady frere,Eastern Cape.
