Dear MP

We hear regularly on the news about allegations of corruption in private and public sector as well as about the investigations in this regard by various portfolio committees of parliament. However I am extremely concerned about lack of consequences to corruption by some of the officials in government departments and state entities.

State resources are used to collect evidence of corruption on a regular basis but no criminal or corruption charges are instituted against the perpetrators. Further more, all the moneys stolen through corrupt activities are not recovered. In most cases, perpetrators are not expelled from the office of trust or are simply redeployed to other state institution.

As the voter of Economic Freedom Fighters, I would like to urge our EFF representative in parliament to act decisively on corruption without compromising the principle of "innocent until proven guilty".
