We the residents of Unit 8 Mmabatho have written several letters regarding disturbance of the loud music played by the owner of a tavern situated in Onkgopotse Tiro Road Unit 8 Mmabatho, operating till the early hours, for the past twelve months on weekly basis. Young generations from the ages of 15, gather in that tavern to buy alcohol

We wrote several letters and were delivered to Mmabatho police station, Municipality and law enforcement but the situation is now worse during this first festive season. We have continuous sleepless nights and we no longer enjoy our properties as a result of this behaviour. As residents and rate payers of Marking, we have the right to live freely in our homes.

We requested the authorities to revoke the license of the owner because we don't have any cooperation after several engagement with him. In the morning we have to pick up empty bottles of beer and used condoms around our premises
