Minister Cele allow me to first congratulate you into your new portfolio and we are looking forward to your progressive leadership within the Police. Obviously you are not new in the environment as you have been here before in a different position of responsibiity. You have brought renewed hope to the people of South Africa that you will ensure their safety is garanteed and you will endeavour to uphold the Constitutional mandate of the Republic to serve the people.
