Congratulations on your new appointment as our new minister of human settlements.

We look forward to your leadership and new direction of the Human Settlements Department. We are very positive about your appointment and we have a renewed sense of hope as the students of the Bachelor of Human Settlements Development in the Nelson Mandela University.

Government has indeed invested over R 6 million over the past 7 years in the Nelson Mandela University to develop this program to fight poverty, inequality and unemployment in our country. It is our pleasure to announce that this program will see it's first graduates in April this year.

We hope that these graduates and future graduates will assist your office to tackle the ever growing housing demand in our country.
