Dear Honorable Kgomotso
I would like to take this opportunity to extend my warmest congratulations to you on your appointment as a Member of Parliament. Your dedication to serving the community is truly commendable and I have no doubt that you will make a positive impact during your term.
I am writing to bring to your attention a pressing issue that affects a significant portion of our society: "the exclusion of unemployed adults between the ages of 35 to 50 from the job market". This demographic often finds themselves facing significant barriers when attempting to re-enter the workforce, leaving everyone feeling disillusioned and disconnected from the economy.
As a representative of the people, I kindly request that you consider ways in which Parliament can expedite solutions to address this issue. Some potential measures that could be explored include:
* Implementing policies that encourage businesses to hire and retain older workers
* Offering support services to help this demographic navigate the job market and access employment opportunities
* Reviewing and revising existing labor laws to prevent age-based discrimination
I would be grateful if you could share this message with members in the labour portfolio on how Parliament can work to address the challenges faced by this age group and provide support to those who are struggling to find employment. I believe that with your influence and dedication we can work together to create a more inclusive and supportive environment for all members of our community.
I am sitting here with a Policing Diploma and LLB Degree and recently completed my PVT and still form part of the under-employment group over 35years.
Thank you for your time and consideration.
Once again, Congratulations on your appointment leadership.
Sincerely,
Cadre Hendrick Mothiba
