I am writing to bring to your attention several concerns regarding the functioning of the Ward Committee in Ward 75, City of Tshwane, Region 2. As a member of the Ward Committee, I am experiencing difficulties in fulfilling our responsibilities due to a lack of support and resources.

Specifically, we have faced:

1. Delayed handover of portfolios (3 months)
2. Non-payment of out-of-pocket expenses (4 months)
3. Lack of communication from the Office of the Speaker
4. Insufficient resources and support for Ward Committee members
5. No formal linkages with relevant departments for collaboration

These challenges have hindered our ability to effectively serve the community. I have queried these issues, but unfortunately, we have not received a satisfactory response.

I kindly request your intervention to address these concerns and ensure that the Ward Committee receives the necessary support and resources to fulfill our responsibilities.
