Dear Mr Leon Amos Schreiber
I hope this message finds you well.
Mr Malusi Gigaba left a waiver in place for foreign graduates in the critical skills category who graduated from South African universities to enable them to easily get work visas and permanent residency after graduation, then Mr Aron Motsoaledi cited it as a loophole for foreigners to get permanent residency and scraped the waiver off in February 2022 leaving fresh critical skills graduates in limbo. How can you tackle this issue to accommodate fresh critical skills graduates from South African universities? My main worry is how can they get work visas after graduation?, i'm not much interested on the permanent residency part. As it is, they don't have the minimum of five years of experience written on the critical skills list and the registration with a professional body is a hindrance to them as well. They are stuck with getting work visas after graduation because they don't have the needed minimum of five years experience as fresh graduates.
