I am Mkhuseli Mpumzi Mntwini residing in East London Eastern Cape.I was working for the Department of Rural development and Land Reform in the Western Cape as a Director Land Reform but was victimised and dismissed for not implementing popular decision.I questioned several illegal activities in the department around the appointment of BONO as the Strategic Partner, the profit sharing of Rietkloof farm and the Beaufort West farms. Most of our beneficiaries are suffering and the money is taken back by strategic partners. The land reform issue is very critical and is being captured by SAFE and BONO in all the Provinces that is how taxpayers money is misused. I am prepared to appear in any commission of Enquiry to explain further on these matters. I am humbly appealing to you to please take time in your busy schedule and watch these episodes. (Can be forwarded to you should you need them) The Minister asked the investigation (NEXUS) for this project but the report was issued in September 2016 was finalised and submitted to the Minister but not a single recommendation was implemented. The Department of Rural Development is also captured by BONO and SAFE not only in the Western Cape but in other Provinces as well. I tried the portfolio committee of Rural Development , the then Minister, Deputies everyone but not a single person responded to my appeal for intervention to resolve this matter. The department appointed an investigating commission on the conduct of Babalwa Magoda who was the Chief Director, but the report and recommendation never implemented. The same person was the shareholder of many farms, the officials also inflated the farm cost for acquisition, some farms were bought for the connected people to the politicians and Minister, bought farms that were not profitable, they interfere with the beneficiary allocation and etc
