I write this message as a community member who is disappointed and disgruntled with how the Noerth West government and National COGTA neglect our pleas. We have written numerous emails and complaints and have no response.
We host Sibanye, Glencore, Samancor, and Thatisa Mines, and many corporates (farming)
Our area is poor and plagued by crime, high unemployment.
We don't have proper roads and as we go into summer, the rainy season will lead to flooding and bad roads.
We don't have water, Sibanye use to give water and decided to stop
Numerous reports from Public Protect, PWC, and many cases against the current leadership who embezzled funds.
It's unfortunate these individuals are protected by provincial gov it even meddles in chieftainship appointments.
Kindly intervene, the community can't continue to suffer because political leadership is in cahoots with local tribal authority to misuse funds and not do any service delivery
