Dear Ms. Nkabane,
I hope this email finds you well. My name is Mkhuseli, and I am a student at the University of the Free State.
I am writing to bring to your attention a pressing concern that affects several students, including myself. Our NSFAS application status has been stuck on "application in progress" since last year, despite meeting all requirements.
Unfortunately, attempts to seek assistance from the NSFAS call center have been unsuccessful, as we are consistently informed that the system is offline. This lack of support is exacerbating our frustration, as we are unable to register and are struggling to make ends meet.
While our peers have already received their allowances, we are facing financial hardship, including the threat of eviction due to unpaid rent, hunger and unable to register.
I kindly request your intervention in this matter at UFS, as your assistance would be greatly appreciated. Your prompt response and consideration will help alleviate our distress.
Thank you for your time and attention.
Sincerely,
Mkhuseli
