Dear Nobuhle Pamela Nkabane
We have an issue here at Ethekwini tvet college Centec campus Earl Haig Road Morningside,we have tried striking and we see that our voices are not being heard we as the students at Ethekwini tvet college Centec campus we would like Nsfas office and Nsfas deputies to come to our school and listen to our complains as students.Mr Mchunu said we wouldn't get Nsfas even if our statuses are provincially funded because our course N4 financial management is unfunded and that the problem is at school. And he said because he wants us to study our tuition fees are gonna be paid by seta programs but we won't receive any meal or accommodation allowance, how are we supposed to live when we don't have money we feel that they are unreasonable we applied in public colleges because we don't have money if we had money we would have applied to private colleges. When we strike we are being threatened with guns and bouncers at school and we even tried closing the road with no success of having this issue resolved. Some students here come from Lusikisiki,Bizana,Ulundi and other places we need accommodations we need allowances. The res we currently living in the landlord is running out of patience he gave us a few days to strike and if we don't come up with a solution we will be kicked out. Please we need help as soon as possible can this matter be taken seriously.
Thank you
Ntokozo
