Boksburg Prison Power OUTAGES - "Stolen Cables" - DAILY

Good day,

See the amount of days that the Ekurhuleni could actually supply the Boksburg Prison with electricity in August thus far - 5 days of power since the start of the month of August - Today is the 13th. The cables have apparently been stolen now on a daily basis at hot-spots. These hot-spots have been mentioned to the city's law enforcement - yet nothing is being done - and the Ekurhuleni (including so called 'law enforcement' within the metro) have failed dismally in supplying a much needed service to the area through which is now known as a common daily phenomenon "stolen cables again". The Ekurhuleni Municipality is obliged to deliver a service to all within its boundaries which includes various services - amongst them ELECTRICITY - even more so to a national key point - a Correctional Services facility with more or less 3500-4000 inmates.

I am not getting through to the correct people to address this and I wish to petition this to parliament so that the so-called criminals (looters if you ask me) can be brought to book - this includes the municipality officials who is allowing this to continue.
I have been told that the security never sees anything and the SAPS do not want to get involved. Am I expected as a normal citizen to go armed and sit and wait for these thugs between 1am-4am daily? This is happening EVERYDAY since Friday 09/08/2019!!!!!
The metro is equally negligent in allowing this to continue since they have the resources to combat this but choose not to.
Anyway - stolen cables is not my problem as a tax paying citizen and we are sick and tired of this - the fact that nothing is done about it makes the Ekurhuleni Metro as a whole complicit in this crime.

Please advise of the next steps - this is unacceptable and I will take this to the highest level until I get satisfactorily feedback on how this will be resolved - but the Mayor and Ekurhuleni must be brought to book since they are complicit in allowing this to continue without a workable plan in combating it.
