From being basket cases, Ethiopia and Rwanda have grown phenomenally over the last decade. What caught my eye is that Ethiopia has just commissioned its 2nd hydroelectric generator unit in which will be Africa's biggest scheme. Do they have their own version of BEE (localistion) rules there? I wonder how many letterbox companies, which have no skills whatsoever, inserted themselves in between the foreign companies that actually supply the goods and services and the final product.
