Dear Julius malema my name Stanley from duduza Nigel .I work in a steel factory called fortune steel in nigel.we are having problem with the conditions that we are working in .this company is a Indian owned company which owned by a lady called Maria. this company does not comply with safety rules.people are not given fare treatment according to safety rules is concern.one people are not given ppe or hand gloves to do the work.two most operators are Indians and there is no leave pay and bonuses if work has been consumed for that particular period.three working condition is not taken seriously like induction and clean working area rules.
Four most of supervisor are Indians which have no qualifications for that particular position.and even if you have particular work of qualifications for a particular job specifications is not been recognized.six working hours are abnormal working 7to7 and 30minutes lunch which is not enough for that particular shift. Mostly cleaniness is not taken seriously. Hygienic is not up to standard. Incentives is not taken seriously according to job specifications. Seven apartheid is still the first majority rules .sick leave is not been paid even if you can go to the doctor. Eight no charge rooms for labour's .
Pay as you earn is not diducted.sick leave or family responsibility is not taken seriously. Most of Indian stay in the factory some don't have permit to be here in South Africa .so there are many things that are happening which shows safety in not taken to consideration.
