Thank you for providing background about your work in Khayelitsha in assisting vulnerable workers. It's truly admirable.
Of concern however is your 2019 attendance of Scopa committee meetings; according to the People's Assembly website, it's a most alarming 22% with only 2 out of 9 meetings attended.
Your attendance as an MP at portfolio committee meetings went from 100% in 2014 to 33% to 44% to 57% to last year's 83%.
I'm not sure the workers of Khayelitsha will take kindly to that - unless of course you are in very poor health. Your salary as an MP is paid by SA taxpayers and at the risk of offending you, I do feel the public is owed an explanation for you attending 2 out of 9 meetings. Scopa has a very important function to carry out.
