Good day
I have a suggestion on assisting schools that may need help with getting learners that experience learning challenges. For primary and high school consider using students in their 3rd and 4th year of studying as student teachers in school. We are already funded by the government in terms of our fees and we do practicals with learners at various schools. I'm sure we can be of great help to teachers in terms of assisting learners to read, mathematical areas, writing, comprehension and so forth at a primary level. And for high school as well, learners going back especially grade 12s might benefit with extra assistance for learners with learning challenges. I for one have offered myself at a primary school close to home and hoping that I will be given the opportunity when school commences after the Covid-19.
Please consider the pros and cons and utilize us. Private schools are already employing students on their 3rd and 4th year as extra support in a classroom of 15 to 20 children. Compared to overcrowded classes in public schools. Consider the suggestion and the pros and cons involved. Engage us if necessary, I'm available.
Best regards
Salome
