I recently read an article on the website below regarding the President offering Elon Musk an offer regarding Starlink.

I am unsure if the article is the truth, however, the above really worries me due to the catastrophic ramifications of allowing a man like Elon Musk, who has made baseless accusations about farm murders against South Africa. A man who turned off Starlink satellites during the Ukraine-Russia conflict, leaving Ukraine almost defenceless.

I'm not advocating for Ukraine but it does worry me that so much power could be in the hands of one individual.

I am worried about the safety of our country. I am worried that if we choose to disagree with something he or the West wants us to do in future, they could cripple our IT systems and defence systems, leaving us vulnerable.

May you kindly bring the above matter to the attention of South Africans. I am unfortunately not a respected public figure such as yourself. I believe this would have an important and positive impact if you bring it to light.

I also want to thank you for standing with women during the case for #JusticeforCweCwe. As a woman myself in this country, knowing that men such as yourself exist in South Africa gives me hope for the future.
