Thank you for this and for your sincerity.

I understand how difficult our past is for you - and how much harder it must have been to deal with this over social media. Given how much forgiveness has been extended throughout our population since 1990, not least the example shown by the father of our nation, Nelson Rolihlahla Mandela, and by the example set for us by our Lord Jesus Christ, how can we not forgive - and find each other in a process of reconciliation?

I don't see you need do any more apologising - it's done, and well done. I admire you for your courage and your humility; it couldn’t have been easy for you. Our future is in your hands.

I would like to apologise again for my irresponsible utterances on
Twitter. I have since written a letter of apology and emailed it
to a gentleman called Riaan. I have deactivated my social media
account on Twitter and Facebook.

Once again I am deeply sorry and will do whatever it takes to
