I wish to enquire about the Child and Youth Development Course offered at DUT. I completed this course in 2013 unfortunately this course is not recognised. I am only able to be employed by NGO's. All Government departments do not consider this qualification even the Dept of Education tell us that they only consider ECD as they have no knowledge of this CYDC. I took 3 years doing this unrecognised diploma.

Even Department Social Development employs Social Workers yet we perform the same duties.

I am not sure whether this is the relevant platform for my enquiry. My apologies if not.

Kindly assist and advise as I do not know what to do anymore. I have been employed by one of the NGO's but terminated due to lack of funding.
