Hon. Mgxithama
As you are sitting in portfolio committee for Land, please investigate and respond as to why Izinduna in rural communities are claiming huge amounts of monies as much as R6000 from their subjects when they are performing their official duties (if kubekwa umuntu endaweni ukuze akhe umuzi ahlale nezingane zakhe not for business purposes) while they are in government payroll. My leader these monies are not receipted anywhere. What are their job descriptions (KRA's) as they prove to be government themselves. These incidents are taking place in KZN under the watch of all structures, I'm at Ndwedwe and these is happening in most areas around Ndwedwe, these must be clarified with provincial Cogta, Chiefs, Izinduna and communities must be informed about the outcome to stop this self enrichment by Izinduna and in other instances Chiefs. This land is administered under Ingonyama trust, where the subjects are the trustees of their land but certain individuals want unaffordable amounts of monies if they need to utilize this land for resettlement. I will always support all initiatives by MKP to engage Traditional Leadership because we as subjects we don't have platforms to ventilate about abuse of powers by Traditional leaders under the current administration and this will never be addressed by DA and FFPlus but only MKP.
Salute my Commander
