Dear Mr. Malema,

Your political movement seems to me as the one movement in South Africa that has an actual, coherent vision of the future for the South African people; the only one that has the ideological and practical will to get South Africa out of its current precarious situation, with exploitation and unacceptable poverty and unemployment in the townships.
In this e-mail, I shall not enter into ideological discussions with you as the leader of the movement, for I can hardly make any input into the movement from Serbia, from where I have a greatly insufficient understanding of the material and political conditions within your nation. However, I wish to enquire through this e-mail on a very specific topic - what is the language policy of the EFF?
Perhaps it would be wiser to focus on economic issues rather than semantics and cosmetic changes to national politics, but it's still a question that might be worth asking - does the EFF plan to preserve the status of English as the lingua franca of the Republic of South Africa, or does it seek to replace it with something else. In case the agenda of the EFF plans for the eventual replacement of the English language, it still remains to be asked whether one of the South African ethnic languages - IsiZulu, IsiXhosa, Sesotho, Setswana - would be chosen to be the sole national language, whether all of these would, effectively, be the official state language, or whether an entirely new constructed language would be created to serve as Swahili does for the East Africans. Furthermore, I wish to know about the future status of Afrikaans as a language.

Thanks in advance for having gotten and read this e-mail.

Yours faithfully,

Лука Милошевић
