I have tried to apply for an ID at home affairs several times, but all my attempt have been unsuccessful because they need a copy of my mother's ID. The problem is that it was mistakenly blocked by the system and it was all about a filtering mechanism to control illegal immigrants. I tried to approach home affairs with my birth certificate, father's ID and school records but without success.
