It has been more than 6 years since I wrote my final Grade 12 exams but there has been no certificate issued for me irregardless of many efforts that I have made. It was in 2018 when I decided to repeat my matric at Idutywa School of Excellence after failing on the year 2017 at Khanyisa High School. I gave my level best as a result I knew even before seeing my results on the paper that I have passed, after not receiving it at the scool we went for Basic Education and I was told I cannot get a certificate since they could not locate my results on their system, I went up and down in the EC from Idutywa to Zwelitsha nothing could be done they just said I did not write my matric. It was until when I went to Pretoria Head office and at Umalusi when then I was told that my results are there but were never sent for verification before certification and so the EC department had to first send them for verification then after Umalusi would verify when they send for certificate printing. I tried to contact them and tried people to get to them for me since I was far away and showed them that results are there even though they had always dismissed me with , "we can't see your results." So they went to that to telling me of systematic issues, they told me their system was behind so whenever they send for verification it must have appeared as something(certification) at Umalusi, so they would have to contact ceta to deal with the issue but still irregardless of the promises there has been no positive result. Over the years I have been going up and down trying by all means to get help from the Exams and Assessment department heads to MECs office in Zwelitsha. It has been years and unfortunately I cannot be able to go forward without my matric, even though managed to get into a Tvet collge it has been a struggle to get an apprenticeship since they would require the matric as well in many posts.

I am currently in Mthatha and hope for your assistance in this matter. I believe that I have exhausted all my other options, you are my last hope. I do not think that this is fair to for me my journey has been delayed and sadly the years continue to go.
