Minister Angie, I had adhere to the rules of online registration as we were advised. I selected my favourite High schools and my kids were rejected because of the area that I am staying though they have been studied in Eeresterivier from Grade R until 7. Apex High just told me that they don't accept kids from Mfuleni. I felt so discriminated and I could see that Apartheid still exists. As a single unemployed parent I can't afford to pay school fees to take them to Private schools. I don't have any problem with Malibu High because I understand clearly that is a Maths school of which my kids aren't good in Maths. Then Tuscany High said they don't have any reason for not accepting them and it just ends there. So what I need is to see my kids at school on the 15th Feb like many others as I applied online in time. Remember I still need to buy them Uniform and Stationery. The Covid situation is not an excuse for delaying children. Please bear in mind that I don't have time to go around all High schools as I looked after my father who is a retired Veteran who is also failed by this Government. Kindly assist my kids to erase all the anger that I have in this government. Even late tatu Mandela told us to respect education and when we do we are discriminated because of our living areas.
