My grandson is repeating Gr-4 this year at a private school where we thought he will be better monitored since the ratio is 1:5, but to our surprise that did not happen. yes we were on a lock down for the past 7-8 months but not even once we were called in to sign a disciplinary document and as parents we would call the Principal to find out how is our son doing " and all will be well" it happened that kids were teasing one another where my son called the other "fat" and the fat called my grandson "big head" and that was an issue whereby my grandson was made to write an apology letter and nothing was done to other child, as parents we questioned that and it did not sit well with the principal. The mother had to attend a meeting that was not pleasant on the 05 October 2020 where she decided that the child is no longer welcomed to the school for 2021 academic year however she will let him finish the 2020 exams. My grandson was teased by other kids because he was sitting at the jungle room alone " I didn't mind that, as it was part of punishment" where I got angry and reported back to the Principal it was when other kids were insulting him, I then send a whatsup message to the Principal, to report the incident, her response was " it will never happen again" no apology letters were demanded from other kids.
I was suppose to have a conference call with the Principal and the class teacher on the 16/11/2020 at 9:45 for a way forward about next year instead I received a message at 6:20am that she has come to a conclusion that my son is no longer welcomed for 2021 year. On the 18/11/2020 the mother took a day off to visit the Department of Education to secure space unfortunately she was turned down, then she went to a school where they requested the mid term report before they could give her the application forms she then went to the current school to request for it but the principal refused to see or talk to her and called the police that she was harassed and she chased my grandson from the school premises. My grandson is not going to finish his exams I am frustrated and need urgent help.

I called the Principal to ask her to at least let him finish the year, she refused.
